C Am now this is a story , all about how F Fm C my life got flipped , turned upside - down C and id like to take a minute A G Fm just sit right there F ill tell you how i became the prince Fm C of a town called bel - air C G in west philadelphia , born and raised F C on a playground is where i spent most of my days C G chilling out , maxing , relaxing all cool F C and all shooting some B - ball outside of the school Fm fm+eb when a couple of guys they were up to no good Am Fm started making trouble in my neighborhood Fm fm+eb i got in one little fight and my mom got scared Am C and said youre moving with your auntie and uncle in bel - air C G i whistled for a cab and when it came near F the license plate said fresh C and had dice in the mirror C G if anything i could say that this cab was rare F but i thought nah , forget it C yo home to bel - air! C G i - pulled - up to a house about seven or eight F C ( or fm? ) i yelled to the cabbie yo home , smell you later C Am G Fm looked at my kingdom i was finally there F Fm C to sit on my throne as the prince of bel - air
